Wayne Harris, Chair of the Upstate LPC, reports that the October 8, 2013, panel discussion was
well-attended. Approximately 50 healthcare leaders from across the Upstate convened at the St. Francis Millennium Campus in Greenville for a luncheon session that awarded 1.5 hours of ACHE Face-to-Face education credits. Ms. Johnna Reed, RN, BSN, VP of Business Development/Marketing/Planning/CV at Bon Secours St. Francis Health System in Greenville, moderated this panel discussion on “Physician-Hospital Integration in the 21st Century”.

At the conclusion of the program, Mr. Harris announced a “save the date” for December 18, 2013, 11:30am – 1:30pm at The Village Hospital Community Room in Greer. Mr. Thornton Kirby, President and CEO of the SC Hospital Association, will provide an update on key state and federal legislative and regulatory issues.
